Light moves
Simple and silent
An eternal inscription
Echoing within internal reflection
It bends, it shifts, it shapes
Refracting through time’s hourglass,
Curving hope, carving the colors of forever
Upon each radiant rainbow
Restoring the tree’s core
Growing as the newest flower
Everlasting and ephemeral
And though poised as a prism just above the horizon
It disappears
With the slightest touch
Very beautiful, Eilis 🙂
Thank you. 🙂
Beautiful Éilis! I really got a good sense of how fragile yet indestructible this beam of light is!
I’m glad it was so vivid, Ali! I’ve always loved light and all it’s physics properties too even though I am not supposed to be able to see it. 🙂
