  1. That would be very upsetting to hear. Does it sound like she’s angry or in pain? It could be any reason. Maybe talk to neighbours, someone might know something about her.

    1. Hi Ali, I’m not entirely sure. I think the cry is one of anger or fear. She did some, but a bit less, screaming tonight. I’d think honestly that you’d have a better time at distinguishing kinds of cries and screams than I do. Unfortunately, given my background and years as a child advocate, I often worry about the worst case scenarios when more likely almost anything else could be going on. It’s hard to listen to either way.

      1. I would be the same, Éilis! Unfortunately, we both have over active imaginations, too! Perhaps we’re just imagining the worst. At least, I hope so.
